FiennesFest
A faux film festival I designed in celebration of English actor Ralph Fienne's incredible contributions to film. Each poster works within the series to inform and invite students around campus to the up-coming event. Using typograhpy, hand-lettering, and minimalistic but striking visuals, I created three posters, a custom logo, and bookmark prices designed to reflect each film. Rather than using the over-done character silhouette design seen across thousands of modern movie posters, I designed a refrained and clean poster to reflect the often solemn aspect of each film in the series.

In addition to the typeface itself, I was tasked with creating a cohesive set of type specimens that highlighted the typeface's best features.

Book Covers
A slowly growing collection of book covers I have designed for some of my favorite books. I am also a bookbinder and frequently rebind books to use my new cover designs. I am less interested in replicating mass-produced, commercial book designs which often prioritizes marketability over meaningful interpretation. Instead, this series focuses on creating covers that more directly reflect the tone and theme of the book whilst also standing apart from other covers already on the market.
